Here are some snapshots of the past two weeks, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the pictures WHERE I want them to correspond with the text, so I will have to explain... It is HOT here in North Carolina, so any outdoor activities require WATER! We've done lots of swimming at Jim and Michelle's beach house, but other than that we enjoy air-conditioned activities such as storytime at Barnes and Noble (where you can see Gage and Gracie were more interested in the Thomas the Train set).
Gage did NOT drink that Capri Sun (for you health crazed moms out there:) . He was simply enjoying chewing on Gracie's empty juice container.
The picture of Gage sleeping on Daddy was ironically taken on Father's Day. They had a sweet nap together. Gage has been fighting a bit of a cold (yes, it is 90 degrees here), so he has been spoiled a bit in the sleep routine department.
And yesterday, he decided to unravel the wrapping paper left out from Father's Day, and this is how I found him--happily in mischief.

Let me start by saying what I neglected to comment on your last post...Gage should really be a poster child for preemie babies! He is SO adorable and HEALTHY! What a huge blessing! I cannot believe how big he has gotten this past year. To put it into perspective, Canon was born on his due date and is almost 4 now. HE weighs...a whopping 31 pounds! Now Cabot is another story! I am just so thrilled that Gage has grown into such a big healthy boy!
Now for this post...I couldn't agree with you more about the bookstore! Here the teacher in us plans these great outings to an educational facility (me with visions of snuggling and reading great award-winning books) and all our kids want is to play with the trains. Stupid Thomas.
I will have to write my "review" of Cabot's tub. It does have some great features, though, you have to be careful not to let their heads drop forward into the water and nearly drown themselves...

Gage is SO adorable! We're going to the ocean next week on vacation, so I'm anxious to see how Eli does in the water - first time swimming! And yes, Gage and Eli are so close in their development! Eli has walked a few times, but prefers to crawl since he can get to where he wants to much faster! He'll get there eventually and so will Gage!!! What a cutie pie he is - I love his big smile!
