Update: Just a quick note to thank everyone for your prayers. God has been very good to us--He always is, of course! The specialist ruled out any major problems, that could have been a reason for the abnormal blood counts and concluded that the problem lies in the placenta rather than the baby. I will just have to be cautious, so as not to go into labor too early, and they will likely not let me go past my due date.
And.....it's a boy!
Thanks again for your prayers and thoughtful notes! Please keep this baby boy in your prayers as apparently I haven't created the best "home" for him at the moment. I have promised him that I will make it up to him though! :)

O, Sara, I'm so glad! I did pray for you--several times yesterday. I'll bet Josh is so pumped to have a son... someone he can train to be the next Tiger Woods! :) Are you going to tell us his name, or keep it to yourselves?

Praise the Lord that everything looks good. We'll continue praying! (and we think boys are the best!)

Hi Sara, I'm so glad it's not more serious. I did pray for you and will continue to pray. How exciting to have a boy first!

When is your due date? I may have missed it if you posted it somewhere.

Oh, I just read it... August! That's the best month, if you ask me!

Ruth is right, August is the best month :) Are you soooo excited? I can't wait to hear more about this baby and see pictures.
ps
Maybe Selena told you, but we are expecting our second one in October.
